Faber Enterprises Inc., founded in 1947 by Sam Faber, began as a distribution company selling aircraft parts in Santa Monica, California. During the early 1950’s stocking locations in Dallas, New Jersey, San Francisco, and Wichita were developed. With the acquisition of several manufacturing plants during the 1960’s, the company emphasis turned from distributing general aviation hardware to manufacturing hydraulic tube fittings.
.
Mr. Faber passed away in 1968 and Ron Spencer became the
President. The company became a qualified manufacturer of aerospace tube fittings and an approved supplier to major aircraft companies worldwide. Faber’s participation in standards committees such as SAE and ISO, which continues today, has been an important element in the company’s development and a channel for communication with major customers.
.
Faber Enterprises relocated to its present 40,000 square foot building in Canoga Park, California in 1975, in an effort to consolidate its manufacturing facilities. Emphasis was placed on continuous improvement through meaningful change. Lean manufacturing principles were introduced during the 1990’s, which lead to dramatic reduction in machine set-up and production lead times. Increased flexibility of our manufacturing processes and responsiveness of our internal support team has enabled us to meet and exceed our customer’s just-in-time requirements. We are presently developing in-house capabilities for product testing to expand our participation in the development of state of the art products for emerging aerospace programs.
.
For over a half-century, we have continued to dedicate our resources toward Total Quality Improvement and Customer Satisfaction. Our vision shall be to continue with utmost vigilance to serve our Valued Customers now and in the future. |
